Maguire Iron was honored at the Iowa Rural Water Association Annual Conference on Monday, February 21, 2022, as the 2021 Associate Member of the Year.

Maguire Iron helps store and protect quality water. They do this by being the best water tank company for our customers and employees. This was the goal of Ed Maguire when he founded the company in 1915. Gene Jones Sr. continued this vision when he bought the company from Ed in 1958. It is the same goal that the Jones family carries on today along with over 160 employees located across the country.

“Being recognized by the Iowa Rural Water Association as the Associate Member of the Year is a tremendous honor for our entire Maguire Iron team. We have been serving communities and rural water systems in Iowa for over 100 years.”

“What an honor to receive this award on behalf of Maguire Iron,” said Maguire Iron Iowa Water Tower Expert Jake Dugger. “I personally am very proud of our company. Their passion and dedication to serving our customers every day are outstanding.”

One of the main reasons Maguire Iron won this award was because of training talks provided by Maguire’s Water Tower Experts, Jake Dugger, Rich Kemmis, and Jamie Mays. Maguire Iron also provided training talks via webinars over the past two years to provide CEUs to water professionals across Iowa.

“To be able to provide quality training and credit hours for water professionals across Iowa is important. These professionals work tirelessly to ensure that we have quality water and wastewater services,” said Dugger. “To receive an award like this from a great organization like the Iowa Rural Water Association means a great deal to me.”

“Being recognized for supporting a great organization like the Iowa Rural Water Association is a privilege,” said Maguire Iron CEO Gene Jones, Jr. “These recognitions of our organization are a direct reflection of our people and our culture. We are proud to continue to serve the water storage needs for the great state of Iowa.”
