“Ground breaking for our state of the art facility is a little surreal. Our family has been in the business for 60 plus years,” said Gene Jones Jr., CEO of Maguire Iron. “Maguire has been around for 100 years, and to take this next step and setup our future leaders and family members for long term success is just super fulfilling and just, I know Gene Sr. is super proud and I know grandma Audrey is super proud. This is just a big deal for our family and for all of our team members. So we are thrilled,” said Gene Jones Jr.

“Amazing stuff for the whole Maguire Iron team. Our families, growing up this was a big dream of our fathers. I imagine it was a big dream of Ed Maguire’s back in the day, ” said Scott Jones, President of Maguire Iron. “So a lot of dreams coming together and really looking forward to our full team coming out here and getting in this new facility,” said Scott.

“You know for Sioux Falls to have a company like Maguire Iron that is expanding and growing in the existing industry,” said Dan Dziedzic, Vice President of Economic Development for the Sioux Falls Development Foundation. “And to be able to expand their headquarters, that is super important to our community, and to be able to retain the business in Sioux Falls is fantastic,” Dan said.

“The way we are going to be able to enhance the work experience for our team member is probably the highlight of all the work we are doing on the design side and just really putting together a facility that is going to be state of the art in the water tank storage industry. But the way that we care for our team members and co workers will be second to none,” said Gene Jones Jr.

“Having the ability to expand and grow as far as technology is concerned, efficiency and productivity, giving your employees the opportunity to expand their skill set, and to stay in Sioux Falls and to grow our community is so important,” said Dan.

Gene Jones Jr. had parting words, “You know we are positioned well in the community of Sioux Falls in the water tank industry. We are going to have, this is the largest single investment in the water tank industry that I am aware of in the last 50 years, so it’s going to position us in a big way to be successful going forward.”
